Ivan Toney is due to resume training with his Brentford teammates next week with the restrictions of his eight-month betting ban easing on Sunday.
Striker Toney was suffering with a hamstring problem prior to being suspended in May which may require him to be eased back into training after the injury and his extended absence.
Brentford medics will assess Toney’s recovery on his return to the club to determine exactly when he will get the green light to re-join working with the rest of Thomas Frank’s squad.
Once he does, Toney is expected to play a full part in sessions until his ban ends and he is free to play again in January.

The striker was banned for eight months in May after admitting to 232 betting rule breaches
Toney was hit with the hefty ban and a £50,000 fine after accepting 232 breaches of the FA’s betting rules.
As part of the punishment he was unable to train with his club for the first half of the ban but has been working hard away from Brentford and was recently pictured training alone ahead of a significant step on his comeback trail.
