Sheffield United, Celtic, Bournemouth and Genk are among the clubs showing an interest in Preston North End defender Ben Davies.
The 25-year-old has turned down Preston’s latest contract offer and could sign a pre-contract this month and move for free in the summer.
Davies has been a regular part of Alex Neil’s squad at the back having played 15 league appearances this season, though he missed eight games in the middle of the season due to a hamstring problem.

The 25-year-old can speak to clubs from this month with his Preston contract ending in June
Davies is understood to have concerns about a move to Bramall Lane though with Chris Wilder’s Blades struggling to find a win in this Premier League season.
The south Yorkshire club were beaten 2-0 by Crystal Palace on Saturday which leaves Wilder’s side winless after 17 top-flight games this season.
Bournemouth are high-flying in the Championship as the second tier nears the half-way stage and the Cherries could be playing Premier League football next season rather than Wilder’s Blades.
A move to Celtic or Genk would increase Davies’ chances of playing European football next season.
