Jadon Sancho hid away from the cameras as the winger reported to Carrington at the same time as his team-mates, despite training away from Erik ten Hag’s first team squad.

Sancho has been banished to work on his own in the academy after falling out with Ten Hag by publicly challenging the manager’s reasons for dropping him from the squad at Arsenal earlier this month.

He still has not given Ten Hag the apology he is demanding and remains out of the Man United manager’s first-team plans.

Man United will be seeking to bounce back from another challenging week on the pitch after a 1-0 home defeat to Crystal Palace, before a shock 3-2 Champions League loss against Galatasaray.

The Red Devils host Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday as they bid to return to winning ways.

Antony could be set to return to Premier League action, after the Brazilian came on as a late substitute in the Champions League in midweek.

He had not featured for the club for a month after allegations were made against him of domestic abuse against three women.

Having spoken with police in Brazil and the UK, Antony returned to training last week.

The winger was among the stars to report to Man United’s Carrington training base on Friday.

Luke Shaw was also spotted driving into Carrington ahead of the Brentford clash, as the left back continues to recover from injury.

Shaw has been absent since suffering an injury at the end of August, which was expected to rule the England international out for 10 weeks.

The Red Devils will be eager for Shaw to return to full fitness, with Tyrell Malacia and Sergio Reguilon also on the sidelines.

Erik ten Hag will be eager for his Man United side to return to winning ways against Brentford

Ten Hag has been forced to use defensive midfielder Sofyan Amrabat as a makeshift left back in recent matches.

Amrabat had been exposed in midweek for Galatasaray’s second goal, while the Moroccan also played Mauro Icardi onside for the Turkish side’s winner.

Man United return to Premier League action with the club 10th in the table after three wins and four defeats from their opening matches.

Ten Hag’s side are already having to close a seven point gap to the Champions League places after their slow start to the season.
