Chelsea summer signing Romeo Lavia predicted his teammate Cole Palmer would score his first goal for the club in their 4-1 win over Burnley.
Palmer netted a cool penalty as the Blues pulled away from their oppositon with three second half goals, confirming a second win in the same week for Mauricio Pochettino.
It was the England under-21 international’s first goal in Chelsea blue, and he also went on to provide an assist for Nicolas Jackson late on.
Now, Belgian midfielder Lavia has released a picture of his messages with Palmer on his Instagram story saying he knew the goal was coming.

Lavia released a screenshot of his snapchat messages with his teammate before the game.
He wrote: ‘First Prem Goal today!, I can feel it’
With Palmer replying: ‘let’s gerittttt’
Both youngsters were signed in the summer as part of Chelsea’s radical new transfer policy targetting youth.
Palmer joined from Manchester City for £42.5m while Lavia arrived from relegated Southampton for £58m.
While the Englishman has started life brightly in West London the Belgian has struggled with injuries, not playing a single minute so far this season.
Pochettino will be hoping he can get the best out of Lavia when he returns to the fold, as Chelsea’s recent form indicates they may be on the up.
