Rangers forward Danilo had to be rushed to hospital mid-game after he and St Johnstone's Liam Gordon clashed heads during their Scottish Premiership match.
The 24-year-old Brazilian made the move to Ibrox this summer, joining Michael Beale's side from Dutch champions Feyenoord for a reported fee of around £6million. So far, the Rangers forward has scored two goals in nine appearances for the Gers this term, one of which came against St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park.
On 16 minutes, the striker leapt into the air to beat Gordon to the ball, getting onto the end of a wonderful James Tavernier cross to head his side in front. However, shortly after, Danilo had to be withdrawn from the action after he and Gordon clash heads.

The nasty collision occurred when both players went for the ball in the air, only to clash heads that saw both of them come out of the encounter worse for wear. Danilo's face immediately showed signs of swelling.
While he tried his best to tell the Rangers medics he ok by giving them a thumbs up, Danilo was almost immediately hooked following the clash of heads.

A stretcher had been prepared for the Rangers forward, but he was able to walk off, despite the nasty facial injury. St Johnstone's Gordon was also subbed immediately after the clash.
While Rangers went on to win the game 2-0, with Rabbi Matondo netting their second, Danilo wasn't present to see any of the remainder of the game unfold. Sky Sports' broadcaster Ian Crocker, who was commentating on the game, said: "He's [Danilo] left the stadium and been taken to hospital, with a suspected compound fracture."

And after picking up that injury, that could leave Rangers without Danilo for their upcoming Europa League opener against Real Betis, who they welcome to Ibrox next week on Thursday night.
