A Premier League footballer was reportedly chased by debt collectors after refusing to pay for a £25,000 set of dental veneers.
The player is said to have undergone the treatment at a clinic on London’s Harley Street.
Veneers are custom-made porcelain shells that fit over the front surfaces of your teeth in order to improve their appearance.
It is believed that the well-known star was under the impression that he would be receiving them for free due to his profile.
However, this was not the case and he proceeded to ignore requests for him to pay up.

The top dentist had to call in specialist debt collectors and the player only agreed to pay once legal action was taken.
The case was revealed on Thursday in a report on the increasing number of dental bill dodging cases in Britain.
Chris Spencer, from Frontline Collections, said of the case: ‘He was a Premier League footballer but it ended up going through the court process and eventually we got him to pay.
‘He was kind of all over the place and it was well known he was a bit of a playboy. I think he has calmed down now.’
