Olympiacos steward’s dive after West Ham coach mishap ‘deserves yellow card’
Football fans have joked that an Olympiacos' steward's dive ‘deserves a yellow card’ after he was hit by falling fence outside of the Karaiskakis Stadium.
Footage has emerged on social media of a coach full of West Ham fans arriving for their Europa League clash. However, when entering the stadium the coach knocks a fence, which in turn falls on the steward.
The steward is sent stumbling towards the stadium, until he finally hit the ground to an uproar of laughter from the Hammers fans. And fans have joked he should be booked after the clip did the rounds on X, formerly known as Twitter.

"We’ll get a 3 match ban for that cheers pal," one fan joked. While a second replied: "What a dive that is, Gabriel Jesus would of been proud of that one!"
"When you slow it down here you can clearly see he throws himself over and kicks himself up with the supporting leg. Yellow card for simulation," a third joked. And another added: "Clear dive for me, expect VAR to uphold the decision…"

West Ham's European tour continued on Thursday evening with a trip to Piraeus as they took on Greek giants Olympiacos. David Moyes' side have already beaten SC Freiburg and Backa Topola.
However, the Greek side were the Hammers' biggest test to date, having also beaten Freiburg and earning a point against Backa Topola with ten men.
