Norwich vs Aston Villa preview: Championship clash live on Sky Sports Football

Norwich have Onel Hernandez available to face Aston Villa on Tuesday, while the visitors will be without John McGinn.

Canaries boss Daniel Farke will assess whether winger Hernandez is fit enough for 90 minutes after he made his first start in a month in Saturday’s 2-1 win at Nottingham Forest after hernia surgery.

Grant Hanley (quad) remains three weeks away from a return, while Kenny McLean is out with ankle trouble. Carlton Morris and Matt Jarvis (both knee) are long-term absentees for the Canaries.

Villa will be without midfielder McGinn for the trip to Carrow Road. The former Hibernian star is suspended after collecting his fifth booking of the season in Saturday’s 1-0 win over Swansea.

Keinan Davis has returned to training following his groin injury to aid Dean Smith.

New boss Smith will monitor the fitness of Micah Richards, but the defender is way off match fitness.

Norwich got back to winning ways at the weekend with a late victory at Nottingham Forest, although I’m not too sure many people would have backed Timm Klose to score twice in that game!

Dean Smith, meanwhile, got off to a perfect start with Aston Villa as they narrowly defeated Swansea. This is a tough trip for them, though, and I feel like Norwich will take the three points.
