Mohammed Kudus told he’s ‘too good for West Ham’ after scoring stunning goal
Mohammed Kudus was told ‘he’s too good for West Ham’ by fans after he scored a stunning acrobatic goal against Brentford.
David Moyes’ side travelled across London to take on the Bees in the Premier League on Saturday and the travelling fans were treated to a spectacular goal from the Ghanian. Kudus arrived in the summer from Ajax for £38million and his impressive start to life continues.
West Ham found themselves a goal down after just 11 minutes when Neal Maupay put the hosts ahead. But just eight minutes later parity was restored when Kudus acrobatically fired home Michail Antonio’s cross.

The looping cross from the left-hand side found Kudus who stepped up before leaping both feet into the air and connecting superbly with a scissor kick. His effort flew across Mark Flekken in the Bees goal and nestled in the far corner.
Fans couldn’t believe Kudus’ goal as one fan said on Twitter: “He’s too good for West Ham.” A second commented: “KUDUS making an impact!”

Other fans compared his success to the failure of Antony, who was a team-mate of his at Ajax before he made the £86million move to Manchester United.
One comment questioned Erik ten Hag’s decision to sign the Brazilian over Kudus, saying: “Coulda signed him instead of Antony tbh.” A second added: “He cost 40m and Antony 100m btw”, while a third wrote: “Antony must learn.”
Kudus’ goal was his second in the league in just his second start, the Ghanian also netted in the midweek EFL Cup win against Arsenal. After being eased into the side by Moyes, Kudus is thoroughly excelling and West Ham are reaping the rewards for showing him patience.
Jarrod Bowen soon scored the Hammers’ second of the game to put them 2-1 up at first-half. But a second-half turnaround saw Brentford retake the lead via an own goal from Konstantinos Mavropanos and a third from Nathan Collins.
