Mason Greenwood ate bag of sweets before getting physical with Icelandic model

Icelandic beauty queen Nadia Gunnarsdottir has spoken about her night with Mason Greenwood, revealing the England ace ate a bag of sweets before things got “heated”.

Gunnarsdottir has told The Sun that her and Greenwood kissed before going further with team-mate Phil Foden also spending the night with Lara Clausen.

Greenwood and Foden were sent home from England duty after breaking quarantine rules by inviting girls to their hotel room.

And Gunnarsdottir has said that the England youngsters asked the Icelandic pair to bring sweets to them.

She told The Sun: “Lara was in a shopping centre so got them the candy they asked for.

“We all chilled together. Mason ate virtually the whole packet of Tritlar [fruit flavoured jellies] and Phil had some too.”

The pair missed the Nations League clash with Denmark having met the goals the night after facing Iceland.

Manchester United star Greenwood has apologised for his actions while on England duty, as had Foden.

Greenwood had said in a statement: “Having now had the chance to reflect on what’s happened, I can only apologise to everyone for the embarrassment I have caused.

“It was irresponsible of me to break the COVID-19 protocols which are in place to protect players, staff and the public.

“In particular, I want to apologise to Gareth Southgate, for letting him down, when he had shown great trust in me.
