Manchester United's Anthony Martial has made positive changes on and off the pitch according to France boss Didier Deschamps
The striker was the Red Devils top scorer last term as he enjoyed his most fruitful season in front of goal.
Martial has long been tipped for the top ever since his mega money move from Monaco in 2015.
But things have not fallen into place for the 24-year-old and he has previously been linked with the Old Trafford exit door.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has helped Martial discover his best form when he took over and convince him to pen a new deal in Manchester.
And the striker's new found confidence has not gone unnoticed.
Deschamps said: "I wouldn't say that he has undergone a metamorphosis but he has changed. I have noticed as well off of the pitch. He is capable of making a difference, very solid. He is on the right track."
Martial scored 23 times last season for a United side that finished third in the Premier League.
On the international scene he has battled his way into an immensely competitive France squad.
And Martial's mentality has also been praised by French goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, who has previously been beaten by his compatriot in the Premier League.
He said: "I don’t know if it’s related to his relationship with Solskjaer, we can see he is more confident.
"There is a very good understanding with the players around him at Manchester United.
"He will be expected, he will have to confirm his good season. He is committed to doing well for five, 10 minutes, a half or a whole game."
Martial and United will begin their season a week later than the rest of the league when they take on Crystal Palace.
