Man Utd: Solskjaer says squad can deal with rotation
Manchester United believe they can sign Jadon Sancho for less than £100million, according to reports. Sancho was United’s top target last summer but the Red Devils were not willing to match Borussia Dortmund’s asking price of £108m due to the impact caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
Sancho has struggled this season for Dortmund, as he has yet to score in his 11 Bundesliga appearances.
The England international has contributed three assists in the German top flight but has failed to reach the heights that attracted United’s interest.
Liverpool and Chelsea have been linked with a move for Sancho in recent days.
But it appears United still hold a strong interest in the 20-year-old.

A report from 90min.com says Sancho’s form this season has not put United chiefs off the winger.
United now think they can sign the forward for much less than Dortmund’s asking price last summer.
Sancho is still keen on a move to Old Trafford, with United wanting to complete a deal before this summer’s European Championship.
Sancho’s representatives will consider all approaches, but United are the only club who have made a formal pursuit for the former Manchester City youngster.

United have started the season strongly despite failing to sign Sancho in the summer.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side can go level on points with Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table if they beat Aston Villa tonight.
United’s recent form has led to increased confidence that they can win their first title since the retirement of legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013.
And former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O’Hara believes one top signing this month would give the Red Devils a huge chance of doing that.
“I think Man United are definitely in the hunt for it,” O’Hara said on talkSPORT.
“Man United, alright they’ve lost three, but they’ve won nine.
“You have to say that in the moment, Manchester United started off a bit shaky but all of a sudden you’re going: ‘They’ve picked up and they’ve kicked on’.
“If they can carry that form on, they’re right in the hunt.
“I don’t know if they need a No 9. I think Manchester United will definitely look to the transfer market to strengthen.
“I think the key thing in the title race for Man United is if they can get one star player which is going to improve the side.”
