Tottenham could receive a major boost for their January transfer plans if Manchester United decide to allow Jadon Sancho to leave the club on loan. Juventus have reportedly joined the race to sign the winger, which in turn could push Samuel Iling-Junior further out of the exit from the Allianz Stadium.
Spurs are expected to splash the cash in the January transfer window, funded by Harry Kane’s move to Bayern Munich late in the summer. Ange Postecoglou is keen to put his inflated budget to use, with reinforcements shortlisted in several departments.
The ex-Celtic boss is expected to welcome at least one forward to his squad in January, as well as a centre-back and central midfielder. Several options are said to have already been explored by Spurs, including Juve star Iling-Junior.
The winger has struggled for minutes in the Serie A so far this season, playing just 113 minutes of competitive football in four substitute appearances. As a result, speculation continues to swirl that the 20-year-old will be offloaded in January, with numerous clubs monitoring his situation closely in the hope of helping the versatile forward get his career back on track.

Tottenham are among those linked with the Iling-Junior, and their pursuit of the Chelsea academy product could be boosted by United significantly. According to Calcio Mercato, Juve are desperate to acquire the services of Sancho in January and are pushing to strike a loan deal for the England international.
Although the Red Devils want the ex-Borussia Dortmund star to leave permanently, Juve are growing in confidence that Erik ten Hag’s side will ‘give in’ on their stance and allow Sancho to leave on a short-term deal. If an agreement is reached, Iling-Junior could see his exit greenlighted sooner rather than later as Sancho’s arrival will force him further down the pecking order under Massimiliano Allegri.

Dortmund remain very keen to re-sign Sancho as well though and a return to the Signal Iduna Park is viewed as the ‘safest’ option for the wantaway winger. Thus, if Juve sign the forward then the Bundesliga outfit could be tempted to rival Spurs for Iling-Junior.
The German outfit have been linked with the 20-year-old previously and could be tempted to reignite their interest if they miss out on Sancho, with the higher powers at the club hopeful that they can help Iling-Junior begin to reach his potential before offloading him for a profit further down the line.
