Man Utd chief Ed Woodward identifies targets to sign from £100m Paul Pogba sale

Manchester United are looking to sell Paul Pogba and splash the cash on Tottenham stalwart Eric Dier and Leicester’s James Maddison this summer.

France midfielder Pogba is understood to be looking for a new club to join this summer after starting just five Premier League matches this summer.

Despite frequently insisting that he remains a part of his plans, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may have no choice but to give him up at the end of the season.

Starsport understands United chief Ed Woodward is looking to cash in on Pogba this summer for £100m, following comments from his agent Mino Raiola that he is eyeing a return to Italy.

United could use the cash they make from selling Pogba to bring in England duo Dier and Maddison.

Their first port of call could be Dier, who Old Trafford bosses think could be tempted to leave north London this summer.

The defensive-midfielder was a United fan growing up, and is yet to sign a new deal due to concerns about his playing time under Jose Mourinho.
