Spurs, meanwhile, could find themselves having to replace star man Harry Kane or his deputy Carlos Vinicius, who is only on loan from Benfica.
Belotti is Torino’s captain and has become a hero at the club since joining from Palmero back in 2015, scoring 104 goals in 222 appearances.
A recent resurgence in the club’s form has improved hopes that he will sign a new contract to keep him in Turin beyond the end of next season.
However, a large number of clubs are ready to swoop if he indicates that he is ready to leave on a free transfer next summer.
Earlier this month, Chelsea, Everton and Atletico Madrid were also linked with Belotti, who could yet play for Italy at Euro 2020.
