Manchester United legend Nemanja Vidic has revealed that he enjoyed playing against rivals Liverpool at Anfield ‘too much’ and that was why he was sent off there twice.
The former centre half made 300 appearances for the Red Devils during his eight-year spell at the club.
During that period Vidic relished the clashes against the Reds but was dismissed on four occasions.

‘To go away to play there, at Anfield, as a Man United player, I think it’s the most difficult place,’ Vidic told beIN Sports.
‘Their fans are on top of you, they’re very close to the pitch so it’s difficult.
‘I loved it. That’s why I got two red cards there! I enjoyed it too much!’

Vidic was sent for the third successive game against Liverpool in October 2009 when the Reds beat United 2-0 at Anfield.
He picked up his fourth red card in his final season at United in 2014 as Liverpool won 3-0.
