Man United fans rage at Rasmus Hojlund for 'unforgiveable' miss

Man United fans rage at Rasmus Hojlund for ‘unforgiveable’ miss as striker misses golden chance to give his side the lead against Liverpool

  • Man United drew 0-0 with Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday
  • Rasmus Hojlund had a great opportunity to score during the second half
  • CHRIS SUTTON: Erik ten Hag was WRONG to say Man United played well after their abysmal Champions League exit… is he losing credibility? It’s All Kicking Off

Rasmus Hojlund has not find life easy in the Premier League and the £72m striker missed a huge chance to finally get his first top flight goal during Sunday’s clash with Liverpool.

The Red Devils made a much better showing of themselves than many were expecting and almost snatched the lead when Hojlund was played in during the second half.

The 20-year-old took a good first touch but proceeded to hit the ball straight at goalkeeper Alisson.

It was a big let off for the home side, who weren’t at their best, and United fans quickly took to social media to express their frustration.

‘Hojlund that’s just unforgivable,’ wrote one. ‘Especially when you’re 0 for 14 in the Prem.’

Another tweeted: ‘sometimes you wonder how Rasmus Hojlund hasn’t scored a single Premier League goal, but then you see him shoot.’

The criticism kept coming with one sarcastically posting ‘Hojlund doesn’t score cos he gets no service.’

It was ultimately a good day for Erik ten Hag’s side, who came away with an unlikely point after the 0-0 draw.
