Manchester City have confirmed more positive Covid-19 tests at the club – hours before their Carabao Cup semi-final against rivals Manchester United.
Pep Guardiola's side are set to take on the Red Devils at Old Trafford for a place in the final at Wembley against Tottenham.
But the club have been battling Covid-19, with a breakout occurring in December that led to the training facilities being shut.
And they confirmed that academy graduate Cole Palmer, who has made two appearances for City this season, and goalkeeper Scott Carson – yet to appear this season – have tested positive for the disease.
A statement on Twitter reads: "We can confirm that Scott Carson, Cole Palmer and one member of staff have tested positive for COVID-19."
