Luxembourg manager ‘does a Piers Morgan’ and storms out while 8-0 down
Luxembourg boss Luc Holtz did his best impression of Piers Morgan after storming out during a Euro 2024 qualifier.
The 54-year-old had seen enough after his team fell 8-0 down to Roberto Martinez' men on Monday evening and missed the visitors making it nine, before being joined in the dressing room.
The silent outburst has been compared to Morgan's GMB walkout before he left ITV back in 2021 – and fans reckon he might even nab himself an interview.
One reply joked: "The manager of Luxembourg will have an exclusive interview with Piers Morgan in the coming days!"

That view is in relation to Cristiano Ronaldo also walking out of Old Trafford before the final whistle of their clash against Tottenham back in October, and then securing his own high-profile interview with Morgan.
A second post joked: "The Ronaldo influence is crazy man. What’s the odds that the Luxembourg coach runs to piers Morgan after this."
A third laughed after seeing that Ronaldo wasn't involved in the contest: "I feel an incoming Piers Morgan interview in my bones."

Holtz has been the manager of his former international side since way back in 2010 – and has a better record than you might expect.
He has won 29 of his 126 matches, losing 73 and drawing 23, for a win ratio of 23%.
Despite those positives, his team were soundly beaten with six different players on the score sheet including Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes.

Goncalo Inacio scored twice as did both Goncalo Ramos and Diogo Jota.
Ricardo Horta and Fernandes then made it seven and eight respectively, before Chelsea flop Joao Felix rounded off the rout.
The result leaves Portugal with a perfect record after six games in qualifying Group J, with Luxembourg still in the hunt for second place with 10 points.
