Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has warned his defenders to beware of Jamie Vardy ahead of their Premier League clash this weekend.
The Reds boss will be without key defenders Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Trent Alexander-Arnold among others as they have fallen victim to injuries through the hectic football calendar.
The reigning champions host the current league leaders at Anfield and Klopp had plenty of praise for Foxes frontman Vardy ahead of the crucial clash.

‘His speed, first and foremost,’ Klopp responded when asked about Vardy’s threat.
‘How he uses that and how smart he is, how he has developed his game over the years, he gambles in a good way on the last line and takes risks.
‘His technical level is very high, Jamie is a proper proper player.’
Vardy has already scored eight goals this season leading the line for Brendan Rodgers’ side, equalling Tottenham’s Son Heung-min, Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.

Leicester are currently one point ahead of Spurs and Liverpool at the Premier League’s summit having claimed six wins from their opening eight matches.
The German tactician believes they are a ‘more experienced’ side now under former Reds manager Rodgers.
‘They showed last year how good they can be and this again, they changed their style slightly,’ Klopp explained in his pre-match press conference.
‘They are a good example of how you can deal with an injury crisis, they have a good idea of how they want to play. This year they are more experienced.’

Liverpool have had to deal with a massive injury crisis in recent weeks with many of their star players being sidelined.
Providing an update on who will be available, Klopp said: ‘Hendo (Jordan Henderson) is not available, Trent not, that’s clear. All the rest we will see.
Midfield duo Fabinho and Thiago have been on the mend during the international break and the Reds boss insisted they are in a ‘good way’ along with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
