Jamie Carragher blew Robert Lewandowski's mind with his translating skills in the CBS Sports studio on Wednesday night.
It came on a miserable night for his team, Bayern Munich, who are looking to defend their Champions League crown.
However, they are in serious danger of crashing out of the quarter-finals after losing to Paris Saint-Germain at home.
Kylian Mbappe scored twice as the French outfit ran out 3-2 winners.
But the Bundesliga giants were badly missing their frontman Lewandowski, who has scored 42 times for his club this season.
Bayern made a number of chances but were lacking that killer instinct in the box that the Poland international can provide.
However, he did make an appearance in the CBS Sports studio via a video link, with Carragher, Kate Abdo, Alex Scott and Micah Richards.
The show's host, Abdo, is a talented presenter, who can speak a variation of languages – but one of them she needed a helping hand with.
She said: "One of the languages I do not know is Polish but Jamie Carragher, believe it or not, took Polish in high school.
"After that Champions League final [last season], he translated your interview.
"So we are going to show you how he did and get your thoughts on it."
The post-match interview after the Champions League final last season, where Bayern won 1-0 against PSG, then plays and Carragher is shown trying to translate what Lewandowksi said.
"I took Polish, I didn’t learn it," he started, as the clip played.
“Best feeling of his life? Cant believe it has happened after losing the final, this time he’s won it."
That was about as much as the Liverpool legend could muster but the 32-year-old was impressed.
Lewandowski replied, while laughing: “That was perfectly translated."
