Jack Grealish offers glimpse at fresh career path after giving himself nickname
Jack Grealish parties in Ibiza
Manchester City winger Jack Grealish gave a glimpse into a fresh career interest during an England training session and has already given himself a nickname to match. The 28-year-old is known for enjoying a night out and was pictured celebrating City’s treble winning season.
However, he could soon be on the other side of the DJ booth after revealing his new interest. Grealish was videoed training with his England team-mates ahead of their game European Championship qualifier against Malta.
The video pans to Grealish in conversation with Arsenal star Declan Rice with the City winger stating that he had ‘started DJing’. The former Aston Villa attacker than revealed his nickname was ‘DJ Grealo’.
Grealish then expanded: “I started leaning, lessons. I said it in an interview about a year ago, but I’ve never actually had a lesson until like two weeks ago.”
However, it could be a while until Grealish swaps his football boots for the DJ decks after finding the skill harder than he thought. He added: “It is so hard. Three hours I was in there. I came out and didn’t know anything!”
Grealish was an unused substitute as England beat Malta 2-0 at Wembley on Friday night. The City man could be called into action as Gareth Southgate’s side head to North Macedonia on Monday hoping to qualify amid the top pot of five group winners with the best records.

After making 28 starts last season Grealish has struggled for minutes on the pitch this season with three starts and four substitute appearances. City signed rival left-winger Jeremy Doku in the summer who has had an immediate impact, while Grealish missed September due to a hamstring injury.
Rumours are circulating that boss Pep Guardiola is punishing Grealish for his boozy celebration after last seasons treble. However, a club inside believes that the winger will be a vital part of their squad.
