Harry Kane took to his social media after Bayern Munich’s 8-0 win over Darmstadt in the Bundesliga to discuss his hat-trick and incredible own-half strike.
In a humble video statement, Kane expressed his joy at the result, calling his half-way line goal ‘one of the better ones in my career’.
He called it an ‘amazing second-half’ with ‘one of my better goals’. as Kane secured a hat-trick, alongside braces from Leroy Sane and Jamal Musiala.
Bayern fans were in awe at Kane scoring from his own half, adding to an already eventful match which saw three first-half red cards and eight goals.
On the goal, he said: ‘It was obviously one of my better goals that I’ve scored in my career so far. I got the ball on the half turn and I’d seen the keeper off his line throughout the first half.

‘I’m always looking for every game and of course I’ve tried to score from the halfway line a few times in my career, but this one was just came off perfectly.
‘Special afternoon, especially to finish off with the hat trick as well. So yeah, we keep going for next week,’ the England skipper added.
The hat-trick continued Kane’s fairytale start to Bayern Munich career by scoring an outrageous goal from inside his own half.
The England skipper channelled David Beckham’s iconic goal against Wimbledon in 1996, by netting Munich’s fifth goal in their 8-0 thrashing of Darmstadt.
Picking up the ball in the middle of the pitch, Kane scored from inside the centre circle to net his second goal of the game, as he went on to score a hat-trick for the Bundesliga club.

There were braces for Leroy Sane and Jamal Musiala as well as a goal from Thomas Muller
In a game packed full of incident, it saw three first half red cards before Bayern scored eight goals in 38 minutes after the break.
Kane opened the scoring six minutes into the second period, and it saw the floodgates open for Thomas Tuchel’s men.
The huge win sees Bayern return to the top of the Bundesliga table, one point ahead of Bayer Leverkusen who play Freiburg tomorrow.
Kane now takes his goalscoring tally to 12 with five assists.
