Manchester City will still be without Sergio Aguero for tomorrow's visit of Brighton, Pep Guardiola has revealed.
Aguero was due to make his long-awaited return from a knee injury in Sunday's 3-0 FA Cup win over Birmingham at the Etihad Stadium.
But City's all-time record goalscorer has been forced to self-isolate after coming into contact with someone who tested positive for Covid-19.
Under current isolation rules, Aguero will not be available to face Brighton, with City also missing injured duo Aymeric Laporte and Nathan Ake.
City boss Guardiola said of Aguero: "He's in quarantine, isolating. The rules, I think, means after nine or 10 days he will be back.
"Laporte is injured and Nathan is injured and Eric Garcia and Cole Palmer are also isolating."
Since losing 2-0 at Tottenham in November, City have gone on a 13-game unbeaten run in all competitions, with Guardiola determined to maintain that sequence.
"Since the game against West Brom, when we dropped two points, after that our performances were good," said Guardiola.

"The mood is good and we have to continue tomorrow and after that the next one. The schedule in January and February is so busy, but it's good to again try to do what we have to do.
"The momentum can arrive and disappear in one instant. We cannot forget the teams we beat recently, especially in the Premier League and Carabao Cup, two strong teams away, and we did well.
"But the momentum can disappear tomorrow, so we have to do it again."
City's impressive unbeaten run includes a 5-0 thrashing of Burnley in November and an impressive 3-1 win at Chelsea last time out.
They also won bragging rights over local rivals Manchester Untied with a 2-0 win in the Carabao Cup semi-finals.
