Forward Arsenal let go for £600k is now worth £30m and bagging goals at Dortmund

Donyell Malen might have followed in their footsteps had the Gunners not sold him for a tuppence a few years back. The 24-year-old, who joined the club from Ajax as a teenager in 2015, is currently banging in goals for Dortmund, who have made an unbeaten start to the Bundesliga season.
Despite impressing in Arsenal's academy, he was sold to PSV in 2018 when the Eredivisie giants stumped up £600,000. These days, he's worth almost 60X that, with Transfermarkt valuing him at €35million (£30m).

Malen, who has been compared to Arsenal icon Alexis Sanchez by his coaches, moved to Dortmund for £26m two years ago off the back of blasting 27 goals in all competitions for PSV. He made something of a slow start in Germany, but exploded into life following Sebastian Haller's absence last season.
He's netted four goals in 11 matches so far this season, having started all but one of Dortmund's league matches. His hot form will be prompting a few envious glances from old club Arsenal, who are still a little short on goals up front.

After leaving Arsenal, Malen scored 13 goals in 22 matches for PSV reserve side before breaking into the first team a year later. He left the club with a record 55 senior goals in 116 appearances.
