The Leyton Orient fan who collapsed inside Brisbane Road has tragically died.
Supporters rushed to alert officials of the medical emergency in the stands on Tuesday night. Eventually, the League One game was halted after fans invaded the pitch to gain attention.
The match was in the final 10 minutes when the incident happened, with Orient leading 1-0 at the time, and the game ultimately did not resume. Referee Stephen Martin took the players off and they did not re-emerge to complete the match.

Witnesses at the ground saw how medics held up a red curtain around the stricken supporter, who was brought onto the playing surface at Brisbane Road as doctors and stewards rushed to their aid. The fan was given CPR following a suspected heart attack.
Orient posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) at around 10.30pm on Tuesday night: "All of our hopes are prayers are with the supporter and his loved ones at this incredibly distressing time."
And it has now sadly been confirmed the fan passed away. They were pronounced dead over by the East Stand, despite medics reaching the supporter within four minutes of their suspected heart attack.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson told The Independent: “We were called yesterday at 9:28pm to reports of a person becoming unwell at Leyton Orient Football Club, on Brisbane Road.
“We sent a number of resources to the scene, including an incident response officer, two medics in fast-response cars and an ambulance crew.
“Our first medic arrived in approximately four minutes. We treated a man at the scene, but very sadly, despite our teams’ best efforts, he was later pronounced dead.”
