Over 40 matches at the famous ground, both countries have won 15 games each, with 10 draws.
In fact, England have not lost at the ground for 38 years, with the Three Lions’ last defeat at Hampden coming in the 1985 Rous Cup, when Richard Gough scored the only goal to give Scotland the trophy. In the last encounter between the sides at the ground in 2017, Leigh Griffiths scored two stunning free-kicks late on, after Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain had given England the lead.
But Harry Kane scored a 93rd-minute leveller to deny Scotland a famous World Cup qualifying win.
The highest attendance ever recorded at Hampden for a football match was 149,415 for a 1937 British Home Championship tie between Scotland and England.
