Chelsea chief Marina Granovskaia is set to facilitate the exit of up to 13 players this summer ahead of making two big signings, according to reports. Thomas Tuchel is set to head into his first full window as Chelsea head coach after a successful first few months in west London.

Tuchel replaced Frank Lampard late in January so was unable to make any signings of his own in the winter window.

But there are two key areas where Goal claims the German wants to add to this summer.

Tuchel is keen on bringing in a striker, with Borussia Dortmund sensation Erling Haaland and former Blues man Romelu Lukaku his top two targets.

Chelsea will face strong competition for Haaland, with Manchester United, Manchester City and Real Madrid among the other clubs interested in signing the Norway star.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan will be reluctant to let Lukaku leave, with the Belgian’s prolific form in front of goal looking set to lead them to a first Serie A title since 2010.

A centre-back is also on the agenda, with Bayern Munich defender Niklas Sule Tuchel’s No 1 target for that position.

Sule has made just 15 Bundesliga starts this season after missing a number of matches due to injury.

But for those two deals to happen, Tuchel needs director Granovskaia to help trim his squad.

Olivier Giroud is out of contract at the end of the season, so will leave on a free transfer.

Tammy Abraham could also move on, with Goal naming Leicester and West Ham as two clubs interested in signing the England international.

Chelsea would want up to £40million for Abraham, who has often missed out on match-day squads under Tuchel.

After Giroud and Abraham, there are 11 players who are currently out on loan who will be allowed to leave.

AC Milan have an option to sign Fikayo Tomori for £25million, but are relying on qualifying for the Champions League to have the funds to take up that clause.

Academy graduate Ike Ugbo, on loan at Cercle Brugge, is wanted by Watford, Fulham, Monaco and Genk.

PAOK and Napoli have doubts over permanent deals for Baba Rahman and Tiemoue Bakayoko respectively, though the duo have no futures at Stamford Bridge.

Michy Batshuayi has spent this season on loan at Crystal Palace and Ross Barkley at Aston Villa, with both players up for sale.

Centre-back Matt Miazga, right-back Davide Zappacosta, as well as former Premier League winner Victor Moses will all be allowed to leave as well.

Midfielder Danny Drinkwater and winger Kenedy make up the list of 13 players who can move on.
