Massimiliano Allegri has told Alvaro Morata that he will ‘not be leaving Juventus’ during the January transfer window despite being heavily linked with Barcelona.

Allegri also announced that Aaron Ramsey would be leaving the Serie A side in the January transfer window after being linked with a return to the Premier League.
Massimiliano Allegri has told Alvaro Morata that he will ‘not be leaving Juventus’ in January
He has scored seven goals and registered three assists in 23 competitive games for Juventus
Morata is currently playing his football with Juventus, on loan from parent club Atletico Madrid – who he joined from Chelsea in July 2020 in a deal worth £58million.
However, he has been linked with a move to Barcelona – with reports previously claiming a deal between Atletico and the Catalan giants was ’95 per cent complete’.
However, when asked about Morata’s future after the club during Juve’s press conference ahead of their fixture with Napoli, Allergi said: ‘I told Alvaro that he is staying here, he is not leaving Juventus, end of story’.
It comes as no surprise that Allegri wants to hold onto the player that has scored seven goals and registered three assists in 23 competitive games for Juventus this term.
However, Allegri did not confirm whether Juve would activate their option to buy Morata at the end of the season.
Allegri announced that Aaron Ramsey would be leaving Juve in the January transfer window
They want to offload the £400,000-per-week Welshman, who has played 112 Serie A minutes
Allegri also shared an insight into the future of Ramsey – who has struggled to cement a regular place in the Juventus starting XI.
He said: ‘Ramsey is on the way out of Juventus. I think that the squad will 99 per cent remain what it is right now.’
Juventus are keen to offload the £400,000-per-week Welshman, who has played just 112 minutes for the Serie A giants this season.
The 31-year-old former Arsenal midfielder has failed to gain the trust of Allegri after an injury plagued season.
Therefore, Juve are eager to shift the out of form midfielder from their books during the January transfer window.
However, Ramsey has reportedly turned down a formal approach by Burnley to bring him back to the Premier League.
