Despite a disappointing finish to the 2020 season, the Seahawks remain in the midst of their most successful run in franchise history.
On Tuesday, they committed to keeping it going with one of their primary architects for years to come .
The Seahawks have agreed to a contract extension with executive vice president and general manager John Schneider, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport and NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported. Seattle announced the new pact puts Schneider on its books through the 2027 draft. It also interrupts the Lions’ planned pursuit of Schneider, who previously had one year left on his deal, Rapoport added.
