Saints’ Cameron Jordan takes shot at Buccaneers’ fanbase after win in Tom Brady’s debut

New Orleans Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan didn't waste the opportunity to make a jab at his opponent's fanbase after a 34-23 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Asked by reporters what it felt like playing in a stadium devoid of fans – the Mercedes-Benz Superdome was empty due to COVID-19 restrictions – Jordan had some shade for the Saints' NFC South foe.

"It felt like we were at a Tampa Bay game," Jordan quipped, via The Athletic.

Tampa Bay's fan attendance has rated as one of the lowest in the league over the last decade. Last season the Buccaneers drew 51,898 fans on average to Raymond James Stadium, which ranked 30th of 32 teams in the NFL. New Orleans, on the other hand, ranked seventh with an average of 73,082.
