Jalen Ramsey started Sunday’s game against the Dolphins but the Rams cornerback left the field after a couple of snaps and is questionable to return after feeling sick.
Ramsey wasn’t listed on the injury report before the game, so the illness came as a surprise.
The 26-year-old NFL star was replaced by David Long, a third-round pick by Los Angeles in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Ramsey’s illness is good news for rookie Tua Tagovailoa, who is making his first NFL start against the Rams.
It didn’t take long for the quarterback to take advantage of Ramsey’s absence. Tagovailoa threw his first NFL touchdown to DeVante Parker, who was being covered by Ramsey’s replacement.
