Ohio State’s Drue Chrisman shanks punt for just four yards

Death, taxes and college football kicking blunders. 

Looking to keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive, the No. 7 Ohio State Buckeyes need a big win against Michigan State in East Lansing. 

They won't get it with mistakes like this. 

On their opening drive, the Buckeyes were forced to punt after a dismal three-and-out. Sophomore Drue Chrisman, a 2017 Ray Guy Award semifinalist and third team All-Big Ten honoree, hit the shank of his career.

Chrisman's punt, for lack of a better word, traveled just four yards, ending up among the fans in the stands a good ten rows deep. Michigan State re-gained possession almost in field goal range at the Ohio State 35-yard line.
