NFL trade news: Jaguars sending Dante Fowler to Rams
Dante Fowler will be heading to sunny Los Angeles.
The Rams acquired the defensive end from the Jaguars, the team announced less than 10 minutes before Tuesday’s 4 p.m. ET trade deadline.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Jaguars will receive a 2019 third-round draft pick and a 2020 fifth-round pick.
Fowler was the No. 3 overall pick of the Jaguars in 2015. He missed all of the 2015 season when he suffered a season-ending knee injury during rookie camp, but bounced back to tally 14.0 career sacks, 14 tackles for loss and 22 quarterback hits in his two-and-a-half seasons in Jacksonville.
