Giants re-sign WR Darius Slayton, continue to build offense around Daniel Jones

The New York Giants have agreed to terms to re-sign wide receiver Darius Slayton, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapport and Mike Garafolo reported on Thursday.

Slayton, a Big Blue fifth-round draft pick in 2019, has played four seasons with the Giants, tallying 170 receptions for 2,554 yards and 15 touchdowns in that span.

It’s the latest sign of the Giants building up quarterback Daniel Jones’ offensive options as the Slayton re-signing follows New York bringing back wide receiver Sterling Shepard, applying the franchise tag to running back Saquon Barkley, trading for tight end Darren Waller and on Thursday also signing free-agent wideout Parris Campbell.

Around The NFL will have more shortly.
