The Spurs announced Wednesday they’ll retire Ginobili’s No. 20 jersey later this season.

The special postgame ceremony is scheduled to take place Thursday, March 28, following the Spurs game against the Cavaliers.
Ginobili will be the ninth player to have his number retired by the Spurs, joining the likes of former teammates Tim Duncan, Bruce Bowen and David Robinson.

A native Argentinian, Ginobili signed with the Spurs in 2002 after being selected with the 57th overall pick in the 1999 draft.
He spent his entire 16 year career with Spurs, helping the franchise win four NBA titles.
