NBA coronavirus updates: Boston Celtics’ Jayson Tatum to miss 10-14 days, per report
Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum has been placed in quarantine under the NBA's COVID-19 protocols and will not be available for 10 to 14 days, according to The Athletic.
On Friday, Tatum poured in 32 points in 35 minutes against the Washington Wizards.
Earlier that day, three Celtics — Tristan Thompson, Grant Williams and Robert Williams — were placed in a seven-day quarantine, leaving the Celtics with two frontcourt players in Boston's 116-107 victory.
The Celtics are scheduled to play the Heat on Sunday, with games against the Bulls, Magic (twice, on Jan. 13 and Jan. 15), Knicks and 76ers (also twice, on Jan. 20 and 22) during the 10-to-14 day window Tatum will be absent.
