Trainer Jamie Snowden tempted by Boxing Day outing for Datsalrightgino in the King George VI Chase following his impressive Coral Gold Cup triumph

• Trainer may stump up £4,600 to add Datsalrightgino to the Boxing Day field 

Trainer Jamie Snowden is considering supplementing Datsalrightgino for the King George VI Chase after his heroics at Newbury.

Datsalrightgino was an impressive winner of the Coral Gold Cup last weekend.

Snowden knows he will have to run the gelding in top races from now on and may stump up £4,600 to add Datsalrightgino to the Boxing Day field at Kempton.

He said: ‘It’s something we’ve spoken about, but the King George comes quite soon on the back of (Newbury) and it will have been a hard race for him. We’ll speak about it again.’
