Tiger Woods live score, results, highlights from Friday’s Round 2 at the Masters

Tiger Woods turned in a terrific opening round at the Masters on Thursday, earning a score of 4-under 68; the question now is whether the five-time green jacket winner can continue that level of play in Round 2 at Augusta.

Woods’ opening-round score of 4-under not only tied his lowest opening-round score at the Masters, but also was his first bogey-free round at this tournament since 2008; it was his first bogey-round round at any major since the 2009 PGA Championship.

After his opening round, Tiger attributed his early success to knowledge of the course.

“I’ve been lucky enough to play so many practice rounds earlier in my career with past champions and I was able to win here early in my career. It set me up for the understanding that I’m going to come here each and every year.”

The playing conditions have vastly improved after the opening round was delayed by inclement weather. Moreover, the holes have been moved to generally more advantageous spots for golfers hoping to climb the leaderboard ahead of the cut. All of that points toward another good round of golf for Tiger.
