For the second time in not quite five months, golf fans — excuse us, patrons — get to enjoy the majesty that is the Masters Tournament.
The most prestigious of golf’s four majors announced its tee times on Tuesday, with several intriguing groupings in the first and second rounds. First up among the featured groups is 2020 champion Dustin Johnson, partnered with Lee Westwood and U.S. Amateur champion Tyler Strafaci. Johnson is obviously the biggest golfer to watch from the group as he seeks to become just the first golfer since Tiger Woods in 2001-02 to win the famed green jacket in consecutive tournaments.
Other featured pairings include Rory McIlroy, who will be joined by Jon Rahm and Xander Schauffele as he seeks to earn his career grand slam among golf’s majors. Justin Thomas, the 2021 Players champion, will be joined by Louis Oosthuizen and Tony Finau later in the day; former Masters champion Jordan Spieth (2015) will be among the final golfers to tee off on Thursday.
