Whether you like it or not, social media influencers are having a huge impact on the sport of boxing.
From KSI vs Tommy Fury reportedly selling 1,300,000 PPV buys to Jake Paul selling 500,000 against Nate Diaz – people are coming out in full force and paying to watch the celebrity fighters.
And while UFC Featherweight Billy Quarantillo said KSI’s bout with Fury ‘sucked’, there may be something positive behind the vicious Twitter spouts that usually follow them, as it did with Dillon Danis and Logan Paul.
Time after time, these celebrity boxers are showing the world how fantastic the sport of boxing can be for your health.
From Salt Papi’s incredible weight loss journey to Jake Paul doing a thousand push-ups a day – these are the most remarkable cases when influencers got serious about their sport.
Jake Paul has proved many doubters wrong after stacking up several wins over MMA fighters
The former Disney star said he does thousands of push-ups a day and is constantly in the gym
First up, is the original Vine content creator Jake Paul who has turned into a serious boxing prospect.
With wins against former MMA stars Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz to his name – Paul has proved a lot of doubters wrong.
But what’s perhaps more impressive is his body transformation from a skinny teenager to a bulked out boxer.
He revealed to the Mail: ‘I’m training daily, sometimes six, seven days a week. I’m doing sprints, I’m jogging five, six, seven miles.
‘I’m doing thousands of push-ups, abs every day, neck exercises… I’m boxing, hitting the heavy bag, hitting the speed bag, I’m sparring 2-3 times a week against world champions, I’m doing yoga.
‘I’m eating chicken and vegetables and cutting out all the bad stuff. I’m completely sober and I’m only allowed to have sex once a week!’
Logan Paul was pictured hitting the gym with UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya

Next up is Jake’s fellow boxing brother Logan Paul who has wowed fans with his figure.
People on social media praised the WWE star for looking ‘jacked’ next to 6ft 4 UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya and featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski.
Several fans said Paul looked about 230lbs in the photo, which is 40.5lbs heavier than when he fought Floyd Mayweather and 30.6lbs heavier than his KSI weight.
One fan wrote: ‘Remember when he was calling out Paddy the Baddy. The dudes a heavyweight’. Another added: ‘Logan has an insane physique holy s***’.
Others commented on his weight, saying: ‘Damn, Logan probably weighs something like 230 here,’ while another fan Tweeted: ‘He is looking seriously jacked’.
One Twitter user also said ‘I think everyone thinks Logan is still just this ‘YouTuber kid’, but bros legit actually!!’
Salt Papi – whose real name is Nathaniel Bustamante – has undergone dramatic weight loss
The 29-year-old weighed 210lbs in 2022 but he has since lost roughly 50lbs for his fight
On to another brilliant body transformation, social media star Salt Papi revealed his weight loss journey ahead of his fight on the undercard of KSI vs Tommy Fury.
In 2022 Papi, who is from the Phillipines, weighed 210lbs but he accepted a boxing debut against comedian Halal Ham.
After impressing with his skills, he then lost around 30lbs for his next fight against fellow internet celebrity Andy Warski who he knocked out.
After winning his next fight against MMA veteran Josh Brueckner, he suffered a shock defeat against Anthony Taylor which inspired him to lose another 20lbs for his latest fight against Slim.
Papi was looking to impress after boxing promoter Eddie Hearn previously called for him to turn professional, but he lost on points.
Tommy Fury revealed his incredible nine-week body transformation on his social media
Last but not least, Tommy Fury seriously impressed fans with his nine-week body transformation before he fought KSI.
While the pro boxer might not technically fit into this category of influencers, his fights against other social media stars still serves the perfect example of how boxing can transform people.
The Love Island star has previously opened up about his struggle with comfort eating, but posted a before and after picture to his Instagram showing off the results of his rigorous weight training and gain in muscle mass.
Flexing his bulging muscles to emphasise his ripped physique, Tommy wrote: ‘A 9 week transformation… one thing about me, I don’t cut corners. Ever.’
Fiancée Molly Mae Hague, with whom he shares daughter Bambi commented: ‘Absolutely insane’.
