RELIGIOUS EXPERIENCE
‘Grown man’ Reid Travis gives Kentucky the veteran it’s lacked for years
Duke heads into the showdown against Kentucky with one of the best recruiting classes in recent memory. Headlined by the trio of RJ Barrett, Cam Reddish and Zion Williamson, the Blue Devils are a popular pick to win it all this season.
On the other side, Kentucky — which comes in ranked as the No. 1 team in SN’s preseason Top 25 — not only brings in talented recruits of its own, but it also sports a savvy veteran presence it hasn’t had in quite some time. Led by Stanford transfer Reid Travis and sophomore PJ Washington, the Wildcats enter the season as one of the nation’s top teams and will look to prove it in their season opener.
Sporting News will provide updates and highlights from the second game of the 2018 Champions Classic, Duke vs. Kentucky.
