England are facing an uphill struggle entering day four of the Fourth Ashes Test at Old Trafford.
Despite half centuries from Rory Burns and Joe Root, the hosts lost a string of late wickets to finish the third day on 200/5 and teetering on the brink.
They still trail Australia by 297 runs after the visitors pilled up a big score across the opening two days thanks to Steve Smith's double ton.
The home side are now looking to save the Test match and ensure the series enters the final game at the Oval with England's hopes of regaining the urn still alive.
Australia will be hoping to pick up where they left off after Josh Hazelwood's impressive spell at the end of day three as they look to retain the Ashes.
