She was able to save all nine break points in the match.<\/p>\n<p>The 28-year-old from who is originally from Rock Island, Illinois has kept hope alive for an all-American matchup in the finals against No. 4 Coco Gauff.<\/p>\n<p>Seeing that Keys now resides in Orlando, it could also set up a matchup of Florida inhabitants since Gauff is a native of Delray Beach.<\/p>\n<p>Keys will now be set for a semifinal matchup against No. 2 Aryna Sabalenka.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/07\/01\/75147953-0-image-a-62_1694046862729.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>No. 17 Madison Keys continued her US Open run after defeating No. 9 Marketa Vondrousova<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/07\/02\/75147959-12489843-Vondrousova_appeared_overmatched_early_on_in_the_contest_after_d-a-19_1694049571098.jpg\" height=\"428\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Vondrousova appeared overmatched early on in the contest after dropping the first set 6-1<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/07\/01\/75147949-0-image-a-65_1694047029569.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Keys would go on to win the quarterfinal contest 6-1, 6-4 after a more competitive second set<\/p>\n<p>The 2017 finalist Keys suffered a handful of early exits from her domestic Grand Slam in recent years but has excelled in the 2023 edition and appeared right at home in prime time under the bright lights in Flushing.<\/p>\n<p>Vondrousova withdrew from her doubles campaign after a three-set test from American Peyton Stearns in the fourth round left her with a sore arm and she had little firepower left for the quarter-final affair.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I just love it here. I love playing here.
